Meet Baloo 
Baloo is a 4-year-old Anatolian Shepherd / Great Pyrenees mix, intact male, who is in urgent need of a new home due to heartbreaking family circumstances. A family member was recently diagnosed with cancer, and his family will be moving into an apartment to help provide care. Unfortunately, Baloo cannot go with them, and Monday is their last day.
Baloo’s personality & details:
• Good with cats
• Pushy with other dogs
• Ignores small birds
• Has not been around children
• Very aloof and shy with new people — takes a few days to warm up
• Even refuses treats from strangers at first
• Loves walks and cuddling on the couch once he’s comfortable
• Crate trained & potty trained
• Knows basic commands like sit
Baloo has been listed on KSL and Humane classifieds, but with shelters full, his family is running out of options. He needs a patient, understanding home that will give him time to decompress and feel safe.
