Artie is one of the sweetest most gentle seniors you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. He came in as a stray in horrible condition but with simple food and a bit of medical care he is looking as handsome as ever and will only improve! He will likely have chronic skin issues, but they are very manageable. He was also suffering from ear infections which with the condition of his ears is also likely a chronic condition. But all this is a minor inconvenience when you weigh it against the loving personality that comes with this man. Even uncomfortable he`s charming and sweet. Artie seems to like other dogs in the kennels so we will do a dog meet if you already have a dog in the home. He does know basic commands and keeps a clean kennel. He could go into a home with kids, but he will prefer cuddles to racing around a yard playing. The ideal home for him would be with someone who is retired or works from home so he can spend every available second near his human but if that`s not possible he would be equally happy snoozing while he waits for you.
