Meet Jynx 🖤🐺
Jynx is a beautiful 3-year-old black Husky/German Shepherd mix who’s looking for a fresh start. She was surrendered when her previous owner could no longer provide the time and care she deserves, and now she’s hoping to find a patient, understanding home where she can truly thrive.
In her previous home, Jynx lived successfully with other dogs and cats, is potty trained, and knows her basic commands like sit, stay, and shake. She does best walking on a harness, is crate trained, and handles grooming very well. Jynx is also a very active girl who will enjoy regular exercise and mental enrichment once she feels comfortable.
Here at the shelter, Jynx is still adjusting. Staff have noticed she can be timid and easily overwhelmed, sometimes backing away when things feel like too much. She also has a strong pull on leash, which will improve with consistency, confidence-building, and positive reinforcement.
Because of her sensitive nature, Jynx will do best in a calm, quiet home with no young children, where she can settle in at her own pace. With patience, reassurance, and love, this sweet girl has so much potential to blossom into a loyal and devoted companion.
If you’re looking for an active yet gentle soul who just needs a little time to feel safe, Jynx might be your perfect match 🖤
