My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cracker is a sweet, loving boy who believes there’s no such thing as too much attention. This affectionate gentleman’s favorite hobbies include following you around, soaking up pets, and curling up close for quality snuggle time. If you’re sitting down, Cracker assumes it’s an invitation to cuddle — and honestly, he’s usually right.

He has a gentle, people-oriented personality and thrives on companionship. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch, working from home, or heading to bed, Cracker just wants to be right there with you, offering warmth, purrs, and unconditional love.

If you’re looking for a cat who will truly bond with you and make your home feel extra cozy, Cracker is ready to steal your heart (and your lap).

***NOTE*** Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets. They will be experiencing a new environment and meeting new people, which means they may not exhibit the same behaviours they did in their foster videos or while in foster care.

If you are viewing this animal through 24Petconnect by PetPlace or Adopt-a-pet, please visit our website https://kwsphumane.ca/adopt/process to submit an application. Any applications submitted outside of www.kwsphumane.ca may not be received.

Additional adoption info

*Please note that walk-in appointments are welcomed and encouraged, and will be prioritized over online applications.

Come into the Centre and if you see a pet you like, you are able to do a "Meet and Greet" with that pet. Spend some time in alone with the pet or take a dog out for a short walk. If you are still interested in adopting the pet you can meet with one of our Adoption Counsellors who will have you fill out and application and will ask you some questions about the environment in which you live. If you seem like a wonderful match and your environment meets the needs of the pet then your application should be approved!
