Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Indy, the sweetest senior soul with the gentlest heart. Indy came to us through no fault of his own after a lifetime marked by change and uncertainty. At intake, he was noted to be extremely thin, though much of his past remains undocumented. What we do know is that after being passed between homes due to changing circumstances, those surrendering him made the compassionate decision to seek a safer, more stable future for him. Indy enjoys other dogs and is currently in a foster home with one. In his old age, he doesn’t seek out play the way he once might have, though he may gently pick up a toy now and then. What he truly treasures is being close—resting beside his companions and finding comfort in quiet, shared cuddles. Companionship and quiet moments are what makes him happiest. Medically, Indy has a thin body condition with no clear underlying cause. He has had multiple physical exams, bloodwork, and heartworm/tick-borne disease testing, all of which have been normal. He has had occasional episodes of decreased appetite and vomiting, though nothing chronic during his time with us. Due to his advanced age and unknown history, Indy is being placed as a hospice adoption. What Indy needs now is not answers—but love. A soft place to rest, loving humans who will cherish him, and the comfort of knowing he is finally safe. Can Indy spend his golden years with you?
