My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Baby Groot! This handsome 9 week old neutered male kitten came to us with 13 other cats and he is now ready to find his forever home! Baby Groot loves to explore and we think he is going to do well in a home with respectful kids, other friendly cats and possibly a friendly dog! He has a ton of personality and will keep you entertained for hours with his silly antics!

Baby Groot is already neutered, microchipped, dewormed and up to date on his kitten vaccines. Come meet this playful boy!

More about this shelter

Eagle County Animal Shelter and Services handles all of the animal control and animal shelter services for Eagle County. We are a small shelter and are considered socially conscious, which means we are "no-kill" for space. We are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and item donations. If you are interested in donating to the shelter we have a wish list available that includes lots of items that we use everyday here at our shelter to benefit the dogs and cats directly. Please call us at 970-328-DOGS if you are interested in volunteering. We love to have people come in to socialize our cats and walk and socialize the dogs. Come see us!!
