My name is Malone!

Hi, I’m Malone! I’m a chill, couch-loving guy with excellent taste in comfy dog beds—I like to rotate my lounging spots and occasionally perch on the top of the couch to supervise kitchen activities. I’m fully potty trained, don’t mark, and I’ve mastered an important life skill: if I sit very politely after a potty break, treats magically appear (I may demonstrate this skill repeatedly just to be helpful). I’m friendly with people and get along great with other dogs my size or smaller. I’m especially gentle with senior pups and sleep quietly through the night, usually on the couch or beside the bed—though I do hop up in the morning to say hi. I love sniffy adventures at the park and arboretum, handle stairs like a pro, and enjoy cuddling on the couch once I’m invited. I’m food-motivated, not possessive, and a fast learner who enjoys enrichment puzzles and learning new things. I’m still working on a couple of manners, but with patience, guidance, and a cozy place to land, I’ll be a loyal, affectionate companion who’s always happy to sit for a treat—or a snuggle.
