Nautica was brought in by their previous owner on February 10, 2026.

Nautica is a sweet dog who is looking for a loving home. While he can be a bit timid when meeting new people, he warms up quickly if you talk to him softly and offer a gentle approach. Once he feels comfortable and secure, Nautica reveals his friendly and social nature. He is a sensitive soul who truly blossoms with a little patience and kindness, showing himself to be a loyal and affectionate companion. Nautica would make a wonderful addition to a loving home looking for a gentle and social pet.

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County.
