Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Red Ryder — The Little Cat Who Learned to Trust
Red Ryder is a 10‑month‑old sweetheart who came to us as a shy stray, unsure of people and the world. When he went in for his neuter appointment, our vet discovered a small pellet lodged under his arm — likely from someone trying to scare him away. Thankfully, it was safely removed, and Ryder hasn’t looked back since.
After his surgery, this boy blossomed. The timid stray has turned into a cuddly, affectionate little guy who melts for attention and absolutely LOVES catnip. Give him a sprinkle and he’s in heaven.
Ryder is good with other cats and enjoys their company, though he may need a little time to warm up in a new home. Once he feels safe, his gentle, loving personality shines.
If you’re looking for a resilient, tender, catnip‑loving companion who’s ready for a fresh start, Red Ryder is waiting to meet you.
Red Ryder's adoption fee is $0, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption. If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1
