My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cider is a tripod with an incredible spirit and heart just as big as his personality. Brave, sweet, playful and endlessly fun, he approaches life with joy and curiosity.
He loves bird-watching from the window, stretching out in sunny spots, and soaking up all the good things the day has to offer. While he can be cautious with humans at first, with patience he warms up beautifully and show his affectionate, gentle side. He does great with other cats and is fine with dogs, Making him a wonderful fit for a multi-pet home. He especially loves playing with his brother Spice and his foster buddy Mar. Would love for him to be adopted with his brother Spice.
Whether he is chasing toys or lounging int the sunshine, Cider brings happiness wherever he goes-and he' ready to share that bright spirit with a forever family.

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group. We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties.
We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats.
Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Neuter/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low-cost S/N clinics.
