Dez is a 6-year-old black pug mix with a confident strut, a playful streak, and a serious appreciation for the cozy side of life. He’s crate trained, uses stairs like a pro, and does best with a predictable routine.

He’s mostly potty trained and wears a diaper indoors as a precaution (rarely needed), and once he’s settled in, his snuggly, affectionate side really shines. Dez loves engaging with his people and enjoys a good mix of playtime and downtime.

On leash, Dez is eager to explore and enjoys getting out and about. He’s unbothered by everyday household noises and handles normal activity like a champ.

When it comes to other dogs, Dez does best with proper introductions. He’s lived peacefully with some dogs and would be happy to have canine siblings — he just needs a meet-and-greet first to make sure everyone’s comfortable and the vibes are right.

Car rides can make Dez a little anxious at first, but he settles with reassurance and time.
