-Ideal model for photos? Absolutely not. -Ideal model for unconditional love? Nailed it.
-This big handsome goof is a sniff first, slobber later kind of guy. On walks, his nose is glued to the ground, and indoors he prefers to be glued to you—mostly your face. Personal space? Nope! If he likes you (and he will), expect full-body lean-ins and enthusiastic affection.
-Treats? Meh. Toys? Pass. Squeaky toys? Briefly amusing, then back to important things… like pets and love. He’s a big boy with even bigger feelings and very little spatial awareness, so he may accidentally bump into you while trying to cuddle closer (it’s a talent).
-He’s still learning the basics—commands like “sit” are currently a mystery—but he does fully understand kindness, affection, and being told he’s a good boy. He pulls on leash and will need some training, but he’s starting from a place of sweetness and trust.
-This gentle doofus is ready for someone who sees the potential behind the slobber. With patience, guidance, and lots of love, he’s going to be an amazing companion.
-Big body. Bigger heart. Biggest cuddle attempts.
-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros

•Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in.
•There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.
•To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering.
**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.**
