My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET ENZO
3 Months Old | Male | 19 lbs | GSD Mix

Tan body, striking black mask, and the kind of eyes that already look straight into your soul.

Enzo may be just a baby, but he’s already showing off those classic German Shepherd traits — loyalty, confidence, and smarts for days. This boy is the total package.

Playful with other dogs
Unsure about cats
Potty trained
Crate trained
Learning the leash life like a champ
Already adapting to Buffalo snow (Georgia boy said “okay, I guess we do this now” )

Enzo loves toys, loves romping with his foster pack, but when the fun winds down? He’s all about finding his person to snuggle up with and soak in that comfort. He bonded quickly with his foster family and has such a trustworthy, steady little spirit.

He’s that perfect mix of playful puppy energy and “I’ll be your best friend forever” loyalty.

If you’re looking for a smart, adaptable, good-energy pup who will grow into your ride-or-die sidekick… Enzo is waiting.

More about this rescue

Buddy’s Second Chance Rescue, Inc. is a 501c3 dog rescue organization and completely foster-based in the Western New York area. We pull dogs and puppies from high-kill rescues all over the country that are on lists to be euthanized. We place them in foster homes until they find their furever homes here in WNY. Every dog that is saved opens up room for another. So in essence two dogs lives are being saved!!
