Meet Maple! This little talico (tabby/calico) kitten is a playful soul with a shy side. She may be a bit reserved at first, but once she feels safe, her personality starts to shine. Her absolute favorite things are wand toys and spring — she could happily pounce and chase for ages! She also has no problems relaxing in her favorite spot on the cat tree and taking a cat nap.
She’s looking for a calm, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace. A home without dogs would be ideal, as she does best in a quieter environment. She may do well with older, respectful kids as long as they understand she’ll need some time and space to feel comfortable.
With gentle love, consistency, and a few fun toys, this sweet girl will blossom into a wonderful companion. If you’re someone who believes the best bonds are built slowly and sweetly, she just might be your perfect match. Maple would love to go to a home with another feline friend to help her settle in.
Maple is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and has been treated for parasites. Her adoption fee is $125. All current pets must be fixed and up-to-date on vaccines.

During your phone interview, we will work on setting up a date/time for you to meet your new family member at the Petsmart in Troy.
Additional adoption info
* We do require adopters to be at least 21 years old.
* If you are leasing, we do ask that you provide a copy of your rental agreement showing that cats are allowed.
* We also ask that all adults living in the home agree with the adoption and addition of a feline friend to the family.
* For families with young children (under 6), kittens over 6 months are best.
* If the pet is to be alone for a significant amount of time, we ask that you consider adopting an older kitten or adult, or consider adopting two kittens to keep each other company. Young kittens are susceptible to social-depression if alone for a significant amount of time.
* We also discourage "gift" adoptions unless it is from a parent to a minor child.
