She’s a laid-back, shy girl who prefers to take things at her own pace, quietly observing the world before deciding to join in. Once she feels safe and comfortable, her sweet personality shines—she’ll happily roll over for pets and soak up affection from her trusted humans.
She enjoys simple pleasures like batting around toy balls and lounging in the most unexpected cozy spots. This little lady thrives in a calm, predictable environment and would do best in a quiet home without dogs, where she can establish a steady routine.
A home with older children who understand how to respect her boundaries could be a great fit. With patience and love, she’ll reward you with gentle companionship and tender moments that make earning her trust extra special. Oakley would love to go to a home with her sister, Willow, or to a home with another feline friend to show her the ropes.
Oakley is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and has been treated for parasites. Her adoption fee is $125, or $200 as a pair with Willow. All current pets must be fixed and up-to-date on vaccines.

Meet the Pet
During your phone interview, we will work on setting up a date/time for you to meet your new family member at the Petsmart in Troy.
Additional adoption info
* We do require adopters to be at least 21 years old.
* If you are leasing, we do ask that you provide a copy of your rental agreement showing that cats are allowed.
* We also ask that all adults living in the home agree with the adoption and addition of a feline friend to the family.
* For families with young children (under 6), kittens over 6 months are best.
* If the pet is to be alone for a significant amount of time, we ask that you consider adopting an older kitten or adult, or consider adopting two kittens to keep each other company. Young kittens are susceptible to social-depression if alone for a significant amount of time.
* We also discourage "gift" adoptions unless it is from a parent to a minor child.
