FOUND DOG — PLEASE SHARE! This young girl was found on W. Glenn St. in Inverness and is currently safe at Citrus County Animal Services, 4030 S. Airport Rd., Inverness, FL. Do you recognize this dog or know where she belongs? Please help us get her home. No microchip or ID tag. Estimated 6 mos.–2 years old. Weighs 35 pounds. We are here to help you find the one for you! When you come to the shelter please bring your photo ID.

Take the Pet Home

Adopt and the pet is legally yours! Or choose to "slumber party" which is a trial adoption. You will have up to two weeks to decide.

Pay Fee

The adoption fee is $60 for a dog and $35 for a cat. Those living within Citrus County, FL. will also purchase a $10 county license fee.

All adopters must be at least 18 years old. The adoption fee is $60 for a dog and $35 for a cat. Those living within Citrus County, FL. will also purchase a $10 county license fee. All pets are spayed/neutered, current on age and species appropriate vaccinations and flea and heartworm prevention. Kittens under 6 months of age are tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV), and Cats over 6months of age are tested for FeLV and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). Dogs over 6 months of age are tested for heartworm disease. If the dog is heartworm positive, the treatment will be provided by our Veterinarian, at no cost to the adopter, sponsored by our generous community partner Citrus County Foundation for Animal Protection (CCFAP).
