My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cindy Lou! 💕
Cindy Lou is a 15-month-old young dog who came to our rescue as part of a special litter of 11 puppies, along with their mom. Her mom’s DNA testing confirmed she is a Malinois/German Shepherd mix, and because the puppies all looked so different, DNA testing was done on several of them. Two of her siblings tested as a balanced mix of Golden Retriever, German Shepherd, Husky, and Malinois, while another tested as 50% Australian Shepherd with a Malinois/German Shepherd mix—proof that this litter had more than one dad!
Cindy Lou looks like a blend of both groups, so we’ve sent her DNA off as well and are currently awaiting her results.
Cindy Lou may be the smallest of the litter, but she more than makes up for it with her spunk, confidence, and playful spirit. She holds her own with all of her brothers and sisters and is always right in the middle of the fun. She’s an active dog who will need daily exercise and regular activity to stay happy and healthy.
Like her siblings, Cindy Lou is playful, curious, cuddly, and endlessly sweet. She can be a tiny bit shy for the first minute or two when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly and is soon asking for affection and attention.
She does well with other dogs and enjoys being with them. Cindy Lou has not yet been tested with cats.
Cindy Lou is nearly fully potty trained and would do best in a home where her training can be continued and reinforced with consistency, patience, and love. She is also vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed, and ready to head home.
If you’re looking for a medium-sized pup with a big personality, a sweet heart, and lots of playful energy, Cindy Lou is ready to find her perfect family 🐾💖
