My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

KitKat
Short Hair Orange, Black, White Calico Spayed Female
Estimated Birthday: 1/13/2025

Hi there! My name is KitKat, I’m also known as Miss Independent. I was found alone and my foster was able to give me food, warmth, and a safe place. I’ve been with her for a few months now, and enjoy playing with her 2 yr - 5 yr old kitties and her 10 yr old dog. She took extra time introducing us, and now we all run around the house like tiny hooligans.

I may seem cool and casual when I first arrive, but I will need time to decompress so I can get used to the new smells, the layout of my new home, and where my safe spot is if I ever feel spooked. Once I’m comfortable, my personality shines bright, complete with all my kitten energy.

To win my heart, I love playing with cat wands, catnip toys, scratching posts, fuzzy balls, crinkle balls, and even plastic bags (just make sure the handles are cut for safety). Playtime is my love language.

I’m not a lap cat, but I do love to sleep next to you, curl up on a blanket on your desk while you work, or I’ll be nearby keeping you company. 🐾 Hope to meet you soon. I can’t wait to find my furever home

KitKat is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and has been treated for parasites. Her adoption fee is $125. All current pets must be fixed and up-to-date on vaccines.

Additional adoption info

* We do require adopters to be at least 21 years old.
* If you are leasing, we do ask that you provide a copy of your rental agreement showing that cats are allowed.
* We also ask that all adults living in the home agree with the adoption and addition of a feline friend to the family.
* For families with young children (under 6), kittens over 6 months are best.
* If the pet is to be alone for a significant amount of time, we ask that you consider adopting an older kitten or adult, or consider adopting two kittens to keep each other company. Young kittens are susceptible to social-depression if alone for a significant amount of time.
* We also discourage "gift" adoptions unless it is from a parent to a minor child.

Our adoption fee of $100 (cash/check) includes feline leukemia/FIV testing, deworming, flea preventative, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines. All Tigerlily cats are thoroughly examined by a veterinarian. All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered prior to being available for adoption.
