Buckaroo is a sweet lab mix who came to our rescue through one of our outreach partners. He is only three months old and eager for his forever home!
Buckaroo has been blossoming in foster care and is officially ready to find his forever home! When he first arrived, this sweet boy was a little skittish and unsure — but in just a short time, he’s come out of his shell beautifully. Watching his confidence grow has been the best part. 🥹
Bucky gets along great with older dogs and absolutely loves to play. He’s also been around kids (ages 7–9) and has done wonderfully — playful, gentle, and so happy to be included in the fun. He’s even curious about cats and would love to be friends… even if the cat isn’t quite convinced yet. 😄
This boy has the perfect puppy balance: zoomies in the yard followed by full-on cuddle mode. He wants to be near his people and will happily snuggle up beside you on the couch or in bed. He eats well, loves to run and explore, and truly thrives on connection.
When he arrived, he wasn’t potty trained — but he’s learning quickly! He follows the other dogs outside and is starting to understand the routine. He’s still having occasional accidents if he’s not taken out frequently, but that’s very normal puppy progress. Consistency and patience will go a long way.
He was just neutered and is recovering like a champ. 💪
