💘For Valentine’s Day, Heaven Blue has two wishes… and we’re hoping you’ll say yes.

On Christmas morning, as we were taking the trash out, we found him sitting in a carrier, covered in 💩.
Alone.
But unbelievably sweet.
We named him Heaven Blue. 💙
Right away, we noticed two unusual things — he wouldn’t retract his claws, and the tip of his little tongue constantly peeked out. Was that why he was abandoned? We’ll never know. But instead of focusing on the why, we focused on the what now.
Tropicana Animal Hospital diagnosed Heaven Blue with stomatitis — a painful inflammatory condition in his mouth. Estimated to be just 3 years old, he had likely been living with significant discomfort.
He started antibiotics immediately, and then had dental surgery. All but his four canine teeth had to be extracted to relieve his pain. He stayed for monitoring, recovered beautifully, and his stomatitis symptoms have nearly resolved.
The tongue?
Still sticks out.
Dr. Lay doesn’t have a definitive explanation — and honestly, we think it’s just part of his irresistible charm.
After foster care, follow-up rechecks, and continued medication, Heaven Blue has officially been cleared for adoption. And now this affectionate, quirky, resilient boy is ready for his fresh start.
Here’s what you should know:
💙 He's meticulous. Clean. An extrovert and total lap cat. The definition of a snuggle enthusiast. He'll *likely* be happiest as an only cat, or with one *very* mellow feline friend.
He tends to keep his claws out, and we also don't know why, but he is very good about when and where he uses them. 😹
