My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This pup is no side dish – She’s the main attraction at our table. Meet Elote! This darling Chihuahua is an adorable, shy girl with a tiny body. She is loving, but still adjusting to the rescue world, having recently been found abandoned in a bush.

Chihuahuas are known for their small stature, loyalty, and love for attention. They make excellent companions for people of all ages and lifestyles. A popular and well-known breed, they enjoy nothing more than being with their people and are relatively easy to care for. Given some time and lots of love, this kiddo will certainly adjust, making a great addition to your family. So… Whether you add chili powder, lime, cilantro, cheese, or mayonnaise, Elote will add so much flavor to your life!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
