She is almost fully potty trained, uses pee pads, and is crate trained — she even runs into her crate for treats and sleeps quietly through the night. Because she’s still learning about leashes and can be timid in new situations, a fenced in yard is required so she can safely build confidence at her own pace.
PoppyLeigh is shy when meeting new people, but with patience and gentle handling, she will eventually warm up. Her person needs to be very patient and calm, giving her as much time as she needs to fully open up and trust. She enjoys the company of other dogs, and would love a canine friend to play with. She hasn’t met cats yet, but her nature suggests she’d likely be fine.
