Malaki is a 4-month-old Malinois who is very fearful and still learning that the world is safe. He’ll need a mature, experienced home that understands the commitment and structure this breed requires. Slow socialization, clear boundaries, and positive reinforcement will be key to helping him build confidence. With the right guidance and consistency, Malaki has the potential to grow into a loyal and capable companion. Malaki`s adoption comes with a complimentary session with a member of HSPPR`s behavior team.

We provide compassionate care for nearly 5,000 animals each year. Most of the animals that come to our shelter are either pets relinquished by their owners or stray pets found wandering in the areas we serve. Dogs and cats are the most common, although a wide variety of other animals may be found at the shelter as well, including birds, snakes, fish, hamsters and guinea pigs.
