Meet Stewie
Just look at this happy face!
Stewie has been in our Southern partners foster care for 4 months and has transitioned well. Stewie loves people, playing ball, catching bananas (he’s a pro!), and snuggling. This good boy is a catch! He’s been smart and eager to learn - foster mom has been working on his sit, down, and leave it - and would love to have a family that continues to teach him new things. He’s an exuberant young man so the more manners he can learn, the better. Stewie is good with other dogs and plays hard - he’s a higher energy guy but when after a good play session, he is very happy to just lay down and snooze .
Stewie would most likely do well with person that could give Stewie the time and energy he needs. Stewie is full of energy, he loves to play, throw a ball up in the air and chase after it and then will be your snuggle bunny too. Stewie is young and still learning basic skills so someone with time and patience will be super helpful to his transition into a wonderful lifetime companion.
Stewie is looking for his forever home and his forever family to love and to love him.
Stewie's Story:
Stewie was abandoned at a river as a small puppy in a bag, that he chewed his way out of. Stewie was rehomed to a farm which unfortunately did not work out. Unfortunately, chickens and Stewie was not a good mix.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
