Your future professional cuddle supervisor and full time love bug is ready for a home.
Hugo didn’t choose the outdoor life, he chose people. This sweet boy was found going door to door, scratching and begging to be let inside for warmth, safety, and affection.
When the frigid cold hit, it was clear he’d been braving the elements far too long for a cat with such a soft heart.
Now safely indoors, Hugo has made it very clear what he wants most: you.
He adores attention, melts for chin scratches, and will happily roll around in your lap like he’s performing for applause.
He’s wonderfully vocal and loves having full on conversations so expect daily chats, opinions, and loving commentary about his meals and your schedule.
Hugo did test positive for FIV, but don’t let that scare you. FIV+ cats can live long, happy, perfectly normal lives with routine care and an indoor home.
What matters most is that he’s thriving, affectionate, and overflowing with love to give.
Hugo is around 2 years old and has a big tomcat face and the most beautiful stripped markings down his back.
He is now neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and tested negative for FelV and heartworm disease.
All Hugo wants now is a warm lap, a listening ear, and a forever family who will never make him knock on doors again.
He just wants a chance to be the adoring house cat he was always meant to be.
Our adoption fee includes the pets spay or neuter, microchip, up to date vaccines, FelV/FIV/Heartworm test and fecal check. All adoption fees can be found on our website serenityanimalhospital.net
The first step to our adoption process is to fill out an adoption application on our website, www.serenityanimalhospital.net, under the "Adopt From Us" Tab. Once you hit submit, it will come straight to our adoptions email. Once your application has been processed, our adoptions team will reach out with you to schedule a meet and greet.
** Please note: any cats/kittens adopted from us must be kept as INDOOR ONLY cats and cannot be declawed per our adoption contract. **

We are an animal hospital in Sterling Heights Michigan that is also a licensed shelter.
We take on dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens in need. We vet all of our adoptable animals and take the utmost care of them until we can find them their perfect loving forever homes.
All of our adoptable pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, receive fecal testing and treatment, and are microchipped before adoption.
Our dogs are heartworm tested and kept on prevention here with us. We do require that they stay on year round heartworm prevention after going home.
Our cats are all triple tested for FIV, FelV, and Heartworm disease before adoption.
