My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When it comes to other cats, Tristin does not seem fearful, quite the opposite. He’s confident and bold. However, he does enjoy chasing and can be a bit intimidating. His play style tends to be rough, and while he may see it as fun, more sensitive cats have found it stressful. Because of this, Tristin would likely do best as an only cat or with a very confident, playful feline who can match his energy and isn’t easily bothered.

When introduced to a calm and well-mannered dog who is respectful of cats, Tristin hissed briefly at first but relaxed within minutes. Tristin would likely do well with a calm, cat-savvy dog.

With people, Tristin is an absolute sweetheart. He’s wonderful with adults and did great with 4-year-old and 1.5-year-old children, warming up quickly, enjoying gentle pets, and happily playing with a wand toy. He doesn’t mind being picked up and has even given sweet little nose licks while being held. He’ll sit on your lap for short periods, though he’s usually more interested in the next fun activity.

Tristin has lots of energy and embodies that classic playful kitten spirit. He loves batting toys across the room, climbing cat trees, and engaging in interactive wand play. He truly is the perfect mix of sweet and sassy. He even patiently sat on my lap for a nail trim, such a good boy!

Tristin is looking for a home that will embrace his playful confidence, give him plenty of enrichment, and appreciate both his affectionate side and his spirited personality.

TIMELINE:
Our primary objective is to assure the correct match for the people and the pets that we’re sending to their forever homes. Our goal is to send dogs and cats home as quickly as we can, while still being thorough. Processing times will vary and are largely dependent on our ability to connect with your references, landlord, and veterinarian. To keep the process moving along, please make sure you’ve done your part:

3) If you rent, let your landlord know to expect our call.
4) If you currently have pets, ask your veterinarian to be prepared to release your records.
