My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lyric is a 2.5-month-old mixed-breed pup with cool black and brown markings and soft, floppy velvet ears. Found with her siblings on the Navajo Nation and rescued by RezRoads before arriving at Nuzzles & Co., Lyric’s breed is a mystery, but she’s expected to grow into a medium-sized dog.

She’s attentive and curious, taking in the world around her while learning that new things can be safe and fun. Lyric is absolutely adorable and ready to grow up in a loving home of her own.

More about this rescue

Founded in 1990, Nuzzles and Co (formerly Friends of Animals Utah) was just a small group of animal lovers lobbying for a new shelter facility. Today, we are a full-fledged animal rescue and rehabilitation organization with an adoption center, dedicated staff and board of trustees, and a 15,000 sq. ft. facility that includes a full veterinary suite, indoor and outdoor training spaces, miles of hiking trails, and a community cat room with an attached "catio."
