My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tempo is a 2.5-month-old black-and-white mixed-breed pup who came to us from the Navajo Nation with his siblings after being rescued by RezRoads. With no information about their parents, his breed mix is anyone’s guess—but he’s expected to grow into a medium-sized dog.

Tempo is charming and curious, always interested in what’s happening around him. He balances playfulness with attentiveness and is ready to find a home where he can continue learning and growing.

More about this rescue

Founded in 1990, Nuzzles and Co (formerly Friends of Animals Utah) was just a small group of animal lovers lobbying for a new shelter facility. Today, we are a full-fledged animal rescue and rehabilitation organization with an adoption center, dedicated staff and board of trustees, and a 15,000 sq. ft. facility that includes a full veterinary suite, indoor and outdoor training spaces, miles of hiking trails, and a community cat room with an attached "catio."
