My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

GORGEOUS SILVERY GRAY STRIPED TABBY WITH A BOBBED TAIL AND VERY LOVABLE PERSONALITY WILL ENJOY AN EASY GOING HOME WITH CUDDLY AND PLAYFUL PEOPLE. OTHER SWEET CATS ARE OKAY.
I`m quiet, and seem a little shy at times, but I`m really friendly and lovable, I just need for you to reach out first, or call me over. I`ll be so happy that I`ll practically run over! Once we`re friends, you`ll have me around all the time. We can cuddle, hang out together and play with our wand toys! I like to play with toys sometimes! Electronic toys from Amazon that move under a sheet and fly around in the air are really fun and engage my play energy. I come from a home with several of my cat kin of different ages that were all so sweet. I might enjoy having a sweet but confident cat friend once we get to know each other, but being your only cat would be okay too. I need some toys, and a cat tree at the window to help keep me busy. These cushy blankets are great, so please put soft blankets and mats around the house and on the furniture for me to sleep on and I will show you how I make biscuits on them! Remember to reward me with a few yummy treats that I love everyday and I will feel so happy and loved!

More about this shelter

The Colony Animal Services strives to protect andTCAS LOGO-UPDATED nurture The City of The Colony’s lost, homeless, abused, injured, and sick pets. We seek to provide animals the opportunity to be reclaimed, adopted, rehabilitated, or rescued. It is the mission for the Animal Service Officers and volunteers to pursue a positive synergy and to serve the citizens and pets of The Colony.

Animal Services is committed to saving each and every animal that comes into our care. Over the last few years, we have improved our live release rate to 97%. We hold our standards high at keeping this percentage, and in doing so, we ask our rescue partners and citizens to help us pursue finding our animals forever homes.

Every year, we get over a hundred injured and sick animals that need our help. In order for us to help them, we use our donated medical fund to give them the proper care and treatment they need. The only way for us to provide this needed medical care is through our generous financial donors. Every penny donated is sent to our medical fund. Please help us continue this much needed medical care for our animals by donating. Even if you cannot donate, it is a huge help to share posts on social media.
