Pixie is a gorgeous kitty with orange and black tabby stripes and white on her chest and paws. One side of her face has black stripes and black eyeliner, and the other side has orange stripes. And beautiful green eyes!
Pixie likes petting and lap time and loves having someone rub her head and face. She has a great purr motor! She is very sweet and likes being near her people and interacting but is also fine by herself. She is somewhat interested in toys and will sometimes play with them by herself or chase one if you toss it, but she may not have had many toys in her past and isnāt really sure how to play.
She is gaining confidence in her foster home, but is concerned and nervous when meeting new people. She is a sensitive soul who will be scared at first in her forever home. She is looking for a household who will give her time and space to settle in. When petted she can become over excited so a home with cat savvy people who understand cat body language would be ideal, and no young kids. Pixie has a lot of love to share and will be a great companion for the right adopter.
It will take a couple of weeks for Pixie to get used to her forever home. In the beginning she will be very scared and want to hide. It is recommended that she be confined to a bathroom or bedroom at first where she has some places to hide, including her carrier. Give her lots of time by herself to explore at her own pace and get used to the new environment.
Indoor-only home please.
