Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dailey is a 6-year-old German Shepherd mix who came to us from another shelter as a stray. The world has been a little overwhelming for her, and because of that, she’s learned to be cautious. She’s very shy and needs time to feel safe with new people.
Dailey will require multiple visits with a potential adopter before going home. This isn’t a setback, it’s a chance to build a bond the right way. She’s looking for a calm, adult-only home with a dog-savvy adopter who understands that confidence isn’t rushed, it’s earned. With consistency, gentle encouragement, and structure, Dailey has so much potential to blossom.
She’s part of our Paws Forward Program, which means her adoption includes three free training sessions with Janette from Kind K9s. This support will help her adopter continue working on socialization and confidence-building, setting everyone up for success.
Please consider opening your home to Dailey! And if you can't adopt, please share.
