Sawyer is a handsome German Shepherd mix, around three years old, with brains to match his good looks. He is incredibly smart and eager to learn, and you can see how proud he is when he figures something out. He already knows “sit” and “lay,” and he picks things up quickly because he truly wants to make his people happy. He’s the kind of dog who thrives on connection, guidance, and being included in your life.
He absolutely loves to play! Whether it’s a game of fetch, zooming around the yard, or engaging in fun training sessions that challenge his clever mind, Sawyer is happiest when he’s active and involved. He has that wonderful shepherd intelligence — observant, attentive, and always ready for the next adventure. He would flourish with a family that enjoys walks, playtime, and giving him little “jobs” to do so he can show off how smart he is.
Because Sawyer is still a young dog at heart, he will need commitment, consistency, and lots of love to truly thrive. He’s at that perfect age where he’s out of the tiny puppy phase but still full of enthusiasm and potential. With structure, continued training, and a devoted family, he is going to blossom into the most loyal, incredible companion. German Shepherd mixes are known for their devotion, and Sawyer is no exception — he bonds deeply and loves being near his people.
Most of all, Sawyer is just such a good boy. He has a huge personality, a happy spirit, and a heart that is ready to give his whole world to someone special. He doesn’t just want a home — he wants his person. Someone to grow with, learn with, play with, and love with every single day.
If you’re looking for a smart, joyful, loyal companion who will make your life brighter and fuller, Sawyer is ready to meet you. All he needs now is a forever family to believe in him the way he already believes in you.
