Meet Ember! Ember is a stunning girl who proves that some of the most beautiful souls come in the strongest packages. At just over 2 years old, she is a beautiful masterpiece of snowy white fur accented by soft, misty gray patches—but it’s her resilient spirit that truly shines.
Ember is navigating IMHA (Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia). While this means her body sometimes fights a little harder than most, it hasn’t dimmed her spark. She handles her journey with a quiet grace, reminding everyone she meets that "bravery" comes in many forms (and often with a pink nose).
Ember is looking for a dedicated human who understands that her health journey is part of her story. She needs a calm environment where her medication and monitoring are just another part of the daily routine. In exchange, she offers a deep, quiet loyalty that only a cat who has been through the "thick of it" can give.
Ember is spayed, up-to-date on FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations and is FIV and FeLV negative.
Ember is currently staying onsite at our Heartland Facility! Stop by during our open hours on Thursday 4pm-7pm, Friday 4pm-7pm, Saturday Noon-6pm or Sunday Noon-6pm to meet her! No appointment necessary.
