Sandy is a 2-year-old soulful hound mix with the most irresistible “will you rub me?” eyes you’ve ever seen. She currently weighs about 41 pounds and is extremely underweight — she should be closer to 50 pounds to be at a healthy weight. She’s on her journey to filling out and feeling her very best, and she’ll need a family committed to continuing her nutrition and care so she can fully thrive.
What Sandy lacks in pounds, she more than makes up for in love. She is incredibly affectionate and absolutely adores cuddling. If you sit down, she’s right there. If you’re on the couch, she’s ready to share it. She soaks up attention like sunshine and bonds deeply with her people.
Sandy gets along great with other dogs, is crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She’s gentle, sweet-natured, and truly just wants to be close to her humans. Despite everything she’s been through, she has the kindest spirit and the softest heart.
