Hi! I’m Bandit. I'm an old, sleepy guy who likes soft blankets, dog beds and laps. I don't do much, other than sleep and snuggle, but I do occasionally chase the cats. (The cats have no trouble outrunning me because, well, I'm old). I came from a hoarding situation and didn't get great care. I have bad teeth (which will be taken care of) and some hip problems/joint pain. I often won't eat unless my person sits with me. My foster mommy says I need just the right place for my golden years where someone has time to spoil me. Maybe someone who works from home or someone retired? Is that you?

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All of our adoptable pets are in a foster home, and for that reason an application must be submitted before a meeting can be arranged. Filling out an application does not obligate you to adopt it simply tells us a little about you and the type of home you have to offer a new pet.

As a rescue it is our goal to carefully go over your application to be assured that it is a perfect fit for both the pet and you and/or your family. Our foster homes are able to easily evaluate each pet to quickly find out their likes and dislikes which is vital information to a successful adoption.

More about this rescue

Our goal is to do what we can to put an end to careless breeding that over populated the streets and local shelters. Sometimes we come across a pet that has "special needs" and our goal is to educate the public that "special needs" dogs are capable of doing anything you wish as long as you provide the proper training and have the patience needed to coincide with the training. Our inspiration her name is Dhalia and she is a lethal white Australian shepherd that is a result of merle to merle breeding. Sadly 25% of puppies born with this genetic make-up are predisposed to sight and/or hearing deficiencies. Speak! for the Unspoken has successfully fostered, rehabilitates and re-homed many animals both "normal" and "special needs"
