Nola is crate trained, has a “puppy‑at‑heart” spirit, and previously lived with her brother Leo — who is also at Lost Our Home — making her comfortable coexisting with another dog when properly matched. While Nola can be initially fearful or avoidant, she warms up beautifully with patient encouragement and tasty treats. She has shown some mild resource‑guarding behaviors around food, toys, or personal space. Because of these factors, she’s best suited for a home with older kids (7+) who can help maintain a calm, predictable routine and understand her boundaries.

Lost Our Home Pet Rescue requires each potential adopter to fill out an application. We also ask our adopters to sign an adoption contract and pay an adoption fee at the time of adoption. We will also do periodic follow-ups and offer help with any post-adoption issues that might arise.
