If you’ve ever wanted a full-time cuddle buddy who gives endless kisses, Max is ready to apply for the job! Max’s Favorite Things: Lounging on a super soft bed. Soaking up the sunshine. Car rides (he’s the perfect co-pilot!). Running and stretching his legs. Treats — any kind, he’s not picky! Cats (yes, he actually loves them!) Kids and pretty much every animal he meets. He’s more of a chill companion than a wild playmate. He’ll fetch sometimes, but he’s happiest being your laid-back best friend. Take the Pet Home
Adopt and the pet is legally yours! Or choose to "slumber party" which is a trial adoption. You will have up to two weeks to decide.

The adoption fee is $60 for a dog and $35 for a cat. Those living within Citrus County, FL. will also purchase a $10 county license fee.

All pets are spayed/neutered, current on age and species appropriate vaccinations and flea and heartworm prevention. Kittens under 6 months of age are tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV), and Cats over 6months of age are tested for FeLV and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). Dogs over 6 months of age are tested for heartworm disease. If the dog is heartworm positive, the treatment will be provided by our Veterinarian, at no cost to the adopter, sponsored by our generous community partner Citrus County Foundation for Animal Protection (CCFAP).
