Here's what the humans have to say about me:
🏅 Meet Archibald- 5x gold medalist in purrrring 🏅
2-year-old Archibald a/k/a Archie is a bundle of floof ready to warm up your day. This boy loves to love when he gets comfy, leaning in for his pets and letting out that award-winning purr of his. Oh, and the air biscuits? Some of the best we've ever seen.
Archibald enjoys spending his days recharging in the sunbeams, taking notes on the birds outside, and, of course, snuggling. With a luxurious mane, this little lion enjoys being brushed and loved on. It's no wonder he's earned the title of one of our CATalyst cats!
Once Archibald settles in, there is no stopping him, but underneath that fur is a shy boy who needs time and patience to show his true self. He is looking for someone who understands this and will be there to help him every step of the way, guiding him from reserved to confident. In the end, you'll have a bond with the sweetest boy with the sweetest purrs.
Archibald is now accepting adoption applications; see below.

CATalyst cats:
At Ten Lives, we believe in saving the most at-risk cats of our community. Often, these cats require specialized medical care and extended stays in their foster homes before they are ready for adoption. But we don’t think time or money should ever get in the way of a cat receiving the care they deserve! To help us care for these cats, we have increased fees for other high–demand cats, as these cats help catalyze change within our community. When you adopt a CATalyst cat, you aren’t just providing a forever home for them; you’re helping many other cats at Ten Lives, like our Forgotten Felines!
Thank you for allowing us to continue our life-saving work!

Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Apply here: https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/
Please Note:
If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the application's drop-down menu, they are no longer available for adoption, and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer capacity, applications for cats or kittens that are no longer available will not be reviewed.
About Ten Lives:
Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet-and-greet with a foster cat.
Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-served basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to increased application volume. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience!
All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
