My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Priscilla — a joyful, two-year-old 12.5 lb chi mix ready for her forever home.
Priscilla is active, playful, and always up for a game of chase or a romp with canine friends. She’d thrive in a home with another energetic dog and a secure yard where she can safely burn off her enthusiasm — especially since squirrels are her favorite backyard “project.”

She has a sweet, sensitive side and may lower herself when approached with loud voices or quick movements, but with calm guidance and positive reinforcement, her loving, loyal personality truly shines.

Though her past is a bit of a mystery, her excellent potty manners and comfort in a home suggest she once had a family. Now she’s ready for a second chance — forever.

If you’re looking for a spirited, affectionate companion to share your adventures, Priscilla could be your perfect match. 🐾

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
