My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

While in care Bodacious has displayed high levels of FAS and has allowed minimal handling since arriving at the care centers. He has consistently displayed a tense, rigid body with a tucked tail and will whale eye handlers when approached. He will also begin salivating heavily when attempting to interact with him as reported in his intake notes and while he has displayed an interest in treats he does not allow contact for handling for more than a moment before moving away and staring at handler with a tense body or whale eyeing. We recommend placement with a New Hope partner who can provide any necessary behavior modification (force-free, positive reinforcement-based) and re-evaluate behavior in a stable home environment before placement into a permanent home.
