Meet Blackie, a strikingly handsome black kitty with a tiny white patch on his chest and the most beautiful bright green eyes you’ve ever seen. His eyes seem to glow with curiosity and kindness, and once he trusts you, they’ll be watching your every move with quiet affection.
Blackie came from a TNR situation, but it quickly became clear that he was far too sweet and people-oriented to return to life outside. He’s embraced indoor life and is learning just how wonderful it is to be safe, warm, and loved.

He can be a little shy at first, but that gentle hesitation is paired with a curious nature. He wants to know what you’re doing and will quietly observe until he feels comfortable enough to join you. Once he settles in, his playful and affectionate side shines. He loves to play, snuggle into a cozy bed, and one of his most endearing habits is sleeping on his back—completely relaxed and trusting.

Blackie gets along well with other cats and dogs, and he would do best with cat-experienced children who understand he may need a little patience while he adjusts. He’s also good friends with Twila, and they enjoy each other’s company.

At about 2 years old, Blackie has the perfect balance of youthful playfulness and calm companionship. He’s ready for a forever home where he can continue to build confidence and share his gentle, loving heart.
