My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Misty needs you! This shy, gentle older kitten, was abandoned in an apartment complex and a good Samaritan took her to the vet to be spayed. Once back from the vet we determined she was friendly and just a little scared because she had been abandoned.

Misty is good with other cats. She would love her own quiet household with a nice couch, another cat buddy and friendly people. Not sure about dogs.

Misty would be good with older children but not small children, at least not at this time. Every day she becomes more friendly to her foster family and visitors. She loves treats!

Misty uses the litter box with no problem, negative for FeLV/FIV, dewormed, spayed, microchipped and flea-free.

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group. We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties.
We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats.
Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Neuter/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low-cost S/N clinics.
