My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NOT DOING WELL IN THE SHELTER

Attention Shepard Lovers- Shango (Chase Shango) is a Dutch Sheppard who needs to be rehomed. Being surrendered to shelter February 3, 2026
**1 YEAR OLD** Dutch Shepard ***MALE* 50 POUNDS**Neutered**
Meet Shango — the brilliant, loyal boy looking for his forever home
Handsome Shango’s dad is moving and sadly cannot take him to his new home. This incredible boy deserves a special place to land.
Shango is exceptionally smart — he understands three languages (English, French, and Creole) and knows over 15 commands, with plenty of room and eagerness to learn more. He loves making his person happy and thrives on connection, praise, and companionship.
He’s playful, loving, and wonderful with other dogs, though not a fan of cats. He walks beautifully on a leash and absolutely loves going on his daily outings. If you know shepherds, you already know how intelligent and devoted they are — and Shango is no exception. What he wants most is a human of his own to love. In return, he’ll give you unwavering loyalty, joy, and a best friend for life. Open your heart to Shango. He will love you forever.
