History: Gilmore needed a second chance at a good life and arrived to rescue with the help of Lightshine Rescue whose efforts are focused on a rural reservation in South Dakota where resources are low.
He recently had his front leg amputated due to it being severely injured while fending for himself out in the cold. He is doing very well and adapted quickly to using his other 3 legs.
A Note from the Foster: Gilmore is an incredibly sweet, well trained boy! He loves people, dogs, and squeaky toys. He’s still trying to get his bearings on three legs, but he’s done an amazing job so far. He’s housebroken and knows basic commands. He will make an incredible companion for a lucky family!
