Meet Horseleap Pippy, affectionately known as Pippy—a sweet, gentle, and affectionate girl born February 6, 2021. Pippy’s calm and confident nature makes her a joy to have around, whether she’s out on a walk or relaxing at home.
Pippy is comfortable in all environments and handles everyday sights and sounds with ease. She enjoys attention, being pampered, and the simple joys of companionship.
Pippy gets along wonderfully with children of all ages and dogs of all sizes, making her a perfect fit for a loving family. She’s adaptable, easygoing, and will settle into a home where she can enjoy lots of love and care.
Pippy also had an old wrist injury, which has fully healed and doesn’t affect her at all—she walks, plays, and enjoys life with complete comfort and confidence.
If you’re looking for a composed, relaxed companion with a kind heart and a gentle soul, Pippy could be the perfect match.

More about this rescue
Gold Coast Greyhound Adoptions, Gulf Coast Chapter is a 501(c) (3) non-profit all volunteer organization that is dedicated to the placement of retired racing greyhounds into qualified, caring and loving homes since 2003. It is our mission to educate the public regarding the gentle nature and wonderful temperament of the greyhound breed.
With the closing of the Florida race tracks in 2020, the number of local greyhounds needing placement in loving homes has been significantly reduced. While we are still doing everything we can to help retired racers from other states and countries, we are excited to announce that we are expanding our mission to now work with other sighthounds and closely related sighthound breeds!
