History: Gidget is a super handsome fella who was transferred to rescue when he went unclaimed at a local impound. He is doing well in rescue and is a happy, friendly kiddo who will make a great addition to a lucky home of his very own!
A Note from the Foster: Gidget is one of the sweetest fosters I've ever had. He is loving. He is as happy as can be. He loves other dogs. I don't know about cats as I don't have any. I would say older children as he does jump on people, but not in an aggressive way, just in an excited way.
He would benefit from some training as he is very smart, eager to please and a fast learner. He could use some training in commands and to help with his socialization, as he is just a puppy. He is extremely food/treat motivated. He is 90% potty trained at my house and has never peed in my house. He does have #2 kennel accidents now and then if he does not go to the bathroom outside after feeding. He does great on a leash and LOVES going for walks. He does NOT, however, like the cold. I think as the weather warms up, he will be easy to potty train (he's about 90%of the way there, now).
Gidget deserves another dog to play with him to wrestle and run around the yard with. He is in a fenced yard at my house and I think that would be best for him as he likes to wander around the yard some with the weather warming up.
