My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

History: We received a plea to help a litter of what was 6 Great Pyrenees mix puppies from a rural area in Northern MN. Upon arrival, there were 10 puppies and we opened our doors even wider to welcome them all into rescue. They are sweet, friendly, and loving puppies who are each hoping to find forever homes of their own soon!

A Note from the Foster: Meet Dream, your new little shadow with the most mesmerizing eyes. She’s a striking puppy whose focused gaze makes it feel like you’re the center of her universe. Her coat is a deep dark brown‑black, and in the right light you’ll catch subtle brown highlights that give her a unique, beautiful look. Pictures do not do her unique beauty justice.

Even though she’s only been in a home for less than two days, Dream is already proving how smart, adaptable, and capable she is. She’s learning potty training, using puppy pads when she needs to, and makes a true effort to go outside. Her food motivation makes teaching new skills easy, and she’s always ready to try something new.

When Dream settles in for a belly rub, she fully relaxes and closes her eyes as she enjoys the moment. She’s unfazed by loud noises, confident in new environments, and has a natural curiosity that leads her to observe everything happening around her. While she does have a calmer temperament than many active breeds, she still loves to wrestle, romp and instigate playtime with her sister.

She’s learning puppy manners well, offering gentle licks instead of nibbles and sitting politely for treats or when waiting to be let out of her crate. She is good at staying in her crate when sharing it with her sister, but she’s also content simply stretching out outside, sometimes flopping on her belly to chew her leash as if she’s perfectly happy doing her own thing for a while.

Dream is playful and social but also confident enough to explore independently. She’s curious, expressive, and not shy about offering her little puppy opinions. Dream is a wonderful mix of independence, clever, playful, and watchful—a pup who will grow into a loyal and steady companion for a very lucky family.
