My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

History: We received a plea to help a litter of what was 6 Great Pyrenees mix puppies from a rural area in Northern MN. Upon arrival, there were 10 puppies and we opened our doors even wider to welcome them all into rescue. They are sweet, friendly, and loving puppies who are each hoping to find forever homes of their own soon!

A Note from the Foster: Meet Time — a curious little pup who’s learning what it means to feel safe, cared for, and part of a family.

Time is a gorgeous puppy with a truly eye‑catching look. Her leopard‑like coat pattern is incredibly unique, giving her a striking appearance that stands out the moment you see her. She carries herself with a quiet confidence and a natural charm that draws people in.

Time is showing signs of being a very smart girl. She seems to understand that outside is where she’s supposed to go potty and is already trying to wait until she’s taken out before she goes. After spending time on the streets, she’s very food‑motivated, which makes guiding her into good habits easier. She’s been responding very well to learning simple puppy manners, like using gentle licks instead of rough play and sitting calmly when she wants out of her crate.

One of Time’s sweetest traits is how she looks to her people for direction — she’ll stop and focus on you with this thoughtful little expression, as if she’s trying to figure out the right thing to do. And while she’s happy to learn and play, she’s equally happy to flop over for a belly rub at a moment’s notice.

Time has a brave streak, too. She approaches new things with curiosity. Loud noises don’t seem to faze her. Like many Great Pyrenees, she’s starting to experiment with the classic “Pyr paw” to ask for attention, which is both adorable and endearing.

She’s just beginning to climb into her foster’s lap and seems to be discovering how comforting closeness can be. With patience and gentle encouragement, she may grow into a lovely cuddle companion. She also really enjoys sitting outside, watching the world go by at her own peaceful pace.

Time is a thoughtful puppy with a lot of heart, and she’s learning more every day. She’ll make a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys helping a young dog grow up with kindness, structure, and love.
