Thor is a 2 year old neutered male. He has never been mistreated in any way and has always been loved. We hope that his next owner will have a fairly good sized yard because this boy wants to run and jump and play. He wants to do JRT things! His owner needs to understand the Jack Russell Terrier personality and be willing to keep him engaged. When it’s time to slow down he wants a lap. Yes… he’s a lap dog! Do you like to go for walks? Thor is the perfect partner. Do you like to run errands? He will go with you and keep you company. He is a sweet little dog that likes a lot of attention. He likes to run around and be master of the yard and house! He needs to be in a fenced yard and does not do well with cats or other dogs. He is crate trained and partly house trained. He has had a rough couple of months as his owner has been in the hospital and unable to care for him. He will need some training for obeying commands and not barking as do most JRT’s. Interview
Once your adoption application is submitted, someone with Russell Rescue, Inc. will contact you.

Home Check
You will be required to provide a vet reference and allow us to send a volunteer to your home.
4.
Meet the Pet
Once you are approved to adopt from Russell Rescue, Inc., arrangements will be made for a meet-and-greet with your dog's foster parent.
5.
Sign Adoption Contract
You are required to sign an adoption contract with Russell Rescue, Inc.
6.
Pay Fee
All of our Russell Rescue, Inc. dogs are fully vetted and spayed or neutered. The adoption fee is $275, unless otherwise noted.
7.
Take the Pet Home
You are on your way home with your Jack Russell! Give them some time to adjust to their new surroundings. Contact us with any questions.
