My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Henry!

Henry’s story started out a little rough — he was found alone in the country and brought to the shelter severely underweight and starving. But you’d never know it now. This boy has bounced back with strength, spirit, and a whole lot of personality.

We’ll be honest — we have no idea what kind of dog Henry is! He’s a sturdy, muscular little guy with a smart brain and a mischievous streak. Sometimes he seems wiser than his puppy age would suggest. His problem-solving skills are impressive (and slightly dangerous ). He has figured out how to escape a puppy pen and even uses a table as a step stool to climb onto the bed. Nothing gets past this kid.

Henry is fearless when it comes to playtime. He happily keeps up with his foster brothers who weigh over 50 pounds and doesn’t back down from the fun. He would thrive in a home with lots of energy, activity, and maybe even another playful dog to wrestle with.

He’s still learning that not every moment has to be playtime and is working on how to relax and settle down. With structure, exercise, and continued training, he’s going to make an incredibly loyal and entertaining companion.

If you’re looking for a smart, spunky, adventurous pup who will keep you laughing and on your toes, Henry might just be your perfect match.
